Walmart swoops on Vibe to bolster retail media portfolio

Walmart has agreed to acquire Vibe.co, a self-serve connected TV advertising platform, to expand Walmart Connect’s commerce media capabilities. Reports put the deal at USD1.4 billion. Walmart it would make streaming TV advertising more accessible and measurable for SMBs, mid-market advertisers and marketplace sellers. The transaction is expected to close by the end of FY27 and will not affect Walmart’s FY27 sales or operating income growth guidance. (Walmart)
