Walmart bolsters brand reach via social media platforms

Walmart is expanding social media options on its Walmart Connect retail media network, offering self-serve access, closed-loop measurement and new shoppable formats. Advertisers can now run integrated campaigns across social and onsite placements, starting with Meta, with TikTok to follow later in 2026. The retailer also introduced add-to-cart features on Meta, TikTok and Pinterest, letting shoppers add up to 10 items to Walmart baskets from social ads. (Chain Store Age)
