Tesco has appointed Kingfisher chief technology officer Chris Blatchford as its new technology chief, succeeding Guus Dekkers, who will retire in December. Dekkers has played a key role in modernising Tesco’s technology operations and strengthening its digital, data and cybersecurity capabilities. Blatchford joined B&Q and Screwfix owner Kingfisher in 2022 after previously holding technology leadership roles at RELX Elsevier and Thomson Reuters. (Retail Week)
