Tesco has doubled its electric home-delivery van fleet in less than a year, with its 2,000th vehicle entering service at Hemsworth Superstore in West Yorkshire. Electric vehicles now account for more than 30% of its delivery fleet. Tesco aims to make its entire UK home-delivery fleet electric by 2030, estimating the transition would have an emissions impact equivalent to removing around 22,000 cars from roads annually. (Tesco)
