Target outlines strategy for Shipt fulfilment development
Target will expand next-day shipping from outlets using drivers from its Shipt unit, with more than 100 stores in 50 markets set to offer the service by end-2026, up from six stores in two markets a year earlier. Shipt CEO Kamau Witherspoon said store-based fulfilment reduced logistical bottlenecks and cut Target’s delivery cost. Next-day coverage for shipments currently reaches 50% of the US population and is set to exceed 60% by the end of spring. (Retail Dive)
