Schwarz Group updates on its climate targets

German retail group Schwarz, owner of Lidl and Kaufland, said Scope 1 and 2 emissions fell 44.1% from 2019 levels in 2025, approaching its 48% reduction target for 2030. Self-generated solar power rose 28% to more than 473,000 MWh, while plastic use declined 35.9% from 2017. The group also launched a climate transition plan supporting its net-zero target for 2050.
