Schwarz Group is investing around EUR400 million to expand its Bonback bakery factory in Halle, Germany, supplying Lidl and Kaufland. The project will add five baking lines and a fully automated cold-storage warehouse with about 65,000 pallet positions. Schwarz Produktion said the expansion would create around 400 jobs, with the additional production capacity scheduled to become operational in 2028. (infoRETAIL)
