Rewe outlines its approach for AI-inflected commerce

Rewe chief digital & technology officer Christoph Eltze said AI was reshaping the retailer’s strategy, with impact in marketing personalisation, forecasting, replenishment, content, service interactions and internal efficiency. Rewe was selecting stable tools for 380,000 staff, training senior leaders and limiting higher-risk customer-facing uses.
