Nestlé Russia business in danger of state takeover

Russian company KS Logistika has asked President Vladimir Putin to place Swiss food group Nestlé’s five Russian entities under temporary administration, potentially enabling an ownership change. Nestlé said authorities had not contacted it. The group operates six Russian factories producing coffee, confectionery, baby food and pet food. Analysts cited by Kommersant valued the business at RUB160 billion-RUB175 billion, including assets, brands and undistributed profits. (Reuters)
