Morrisons’ parent debt pile continues to rise
UK supermarket Morrisons’ parent Market Topco saw net debt rise to GBP7.52 billion from GBP7.07 billion, as lease obligations increased to GBP1.97 billion and preference share liabilities reached GBP2 billion. Revenue grew to GBP15.77 billion and LFL sales rose 2.8%, while underlying EBITDA was flat at GBP835 million.
