Morrisons filing reveals losses near a billion

UK supermarket group Morrisons widened its pre-tax loss to GBP926 million from GBP612 million in the year to October 2025, partly reflecting a write-down of its McColl’s convenience estate. Sales rose 3.2% to GBP15.8 billion, with LFL sales up 2.8%. Net debt fell 46% from its 2022 level to GBP3.2 billion, while interest costs declined 29% to GBP281 million.
