Lidl online shop hit by cyberattack, shopper data leaked

A cyberattack on an external IT service provider has exposed personal data belonging to Lidl online shop customers in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Stolen information includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth and customer numbers, but not passwords, payment details or postal addresses. Lidl said its online shop systems were unaffected and urged customers to remain alert for phishing and identity fraud attempts. (Heise)
