Lidl Switzerland said it is gradually rolling out Scan & Go to selected outlets after a successful trial, with more than 20 sites already offering the service. Integrated into the Lidl Plus app, the function lets customers scan products by smartphone and pay at self-checkout. Lidl said the app has 1.5 million registered users and reaches around one-third of Swiss households. (Lidl)
