Lidl Germany taps AI for World Cup activation
Lidl Germany said it had launched an AI-supported real-time campaign for the football World Cup, using food avatars to link match moments with offers and meal ideas. The grocer said the virtual characters would appear from a fictional news studio around match days, covering ranges including barbecue products, fruit, vegetables and international specialities. The campaign will run across RTL formats and other high-reach TV environments. (Lidl)
