Lidl France presents plans to eliminate 550 roles

Lidl France has presented a plan to cut up to 550 administrative roles, mainly in supply chain, human resources and merchandising. The retailer said the departures would be voluntary and about 100 roles would be created at its Strasbourg and Châtenay-Malabry sites. Lidl, which employs 46,000 people in France, said the plan would not affect its investment pace. It is targeting 10% market share by 2030 and 2,000 stores by 2035, up from 1,622 currently. (Lineaires)
