Kroger said Valerie Jabbar, SVP of retail divisions, retired in May after 38 years with the business. Jabbar joined Kroger’s Fry’s division as a clerk in 1987 and held roles including district manager, VP of merchandising, Ralphs division president and group VP of centre store merchandising before taking her latest role in 2021. Jabbar was named The Shelby Report’s 2018 Woman Executive of the Year. (Kroger)
