Kroger has launched Pearl Street Academy, a training and career development platform for associates across its business, centralising leadership programmes, courses and professional development opportunities. Kroger said associates would also benefit from its tuition reimbursement scheme, which offers up to USD21,000 from GED courses to PhD programmes. Since launch, the programme has provided more than USD64 million, with 89% of recipients hourly associates. (Kroger)
