German hypermarket chain Kaufland has launched K-Pay in Poland, allowing customers to pay directly through its Kaufland Card app. Users link a payment card to the service and scan a QR code at checkout, combining payment with loyalty identification in one transaction. Kaufland said the system is intended to shorten checkout times and simplify shopping, with K-Pay available at conventional and self-service checkouts across its Polish network. (Wiadomości Handlowe)
