Anthropic’s Claude has added Instacart to its connected mobile apps, allowing users to build grocery carts through voice or text prompts. Instacart CTO Anirban Kundu said shoppers could create carts inside Claude from recipes, weekly lists or simple prompts. The tool uses live inventory from nearby stores and personalised results from users’ Instacart accounts and grocery purchasing data, with Claude-created carts syncing to existing Instacart baskets.
