Edeka to convert most Tegut sites to Netto Marken-Discount
Edeka plans to transfer the largest part of its planned Tegut acquisition to Netto Marken-Discount, according to Lebensmittel Zeitung. The package reportedly covers around 140 outlets, while about 50 sites would go to Edeka regional companies. Migros agreed to sell most of Tegut’s roughly 300 outlets to Edeka, with Rewe also expected to take some locations. The transaction remains subject to competition approval. (Lebensmittel Zeitung)
