Belgian supermarket chain Delhaize will invest EUR120 million in its logistics network, maintaining operations at Zellik and Ninove while developing a new transport centre and fresh-food distribution centre in Zellik. The facilities are scheduled to open in 2029 and the investment is expected to create 130 permanent jobs. Delhaize said additional capacity was needed to support rising volumes and continued market-share growth in Belgium and Luxembourg. (Ahold Delhaize)
