Alimentation Couche-Tard, the Canadian convenience retailer, agreed to acquire control of Poland’s Żabka Group and launched a tender offer for all shares at PLN32 each, valuing the business at PLN32.62 billion. Shareholders owning 57% have committed to accept. Żabka operates more than 13,000 outlets across Poland and Romania. The deal, Couche-Tard’s largest acquisition, is expected to complete by December, subject to regulatory approvals. (Couche-Tard)
