Amazon said it has unveiled a next-generation Proteus robot as part of plans to invest more than EUR10 billion in its European fulfilment network. The autonomous robot uses natural language commands and is designed to move heavy carts and support employees with physically demanding tasks. Amazon said it will also expand Vulcan and STARK robotics, while growing its European fulfilment centre workforce by 25,000 over the coming years. (Amazon)
