Amazon and Anthropic are expanding their AI partnership, with Anthropic committing to spend USD100 billion on AWS tech over 10 years. The deal includes access to up to 5GW of capacity using Trainium chips and tens of millions of Graviton cores to train and run AI models. Amazon said it would invest USD5 billion immediately and up to USD20 billion more subject to commercial milestones. Anthropic said its Claude Platform would be made available directly through AWS.
