Amazon puts hold on advertising change that inspired revolt
Amazon has deferred until 1 August 2026 a planned change to ad payment methods for a small group of advertisers, after receiving feedback that more time was needed to prepare. Affected advertisers would be able to pay using seller or vendor account balances or Pay by Invoice, under which bills are issued monthly and due 30 days later. If no option is selected before the change takes effect, Amazon said it would default to deductions from available account balances. (Amazon)
