7-Eleven US estate restructuring begins to take shape

US convenience retailer 7-Eleven converted 43 company-owned outlets to franchises and 72 to wholesale sites in Q1, while closing 45 underperforming stores and opening 30. It plans to close 200 underperforming locations, convert 350 to wholesale and open 205 during the fiscal year. A further 390 company-owned stores are targeted for franchising as it works towards an 80% franchise ratio by 2030. (C-Store Dive)
